Join the Prince George Master Gardeners for a celebration of all things pollinator. Aija White entomologist is starting us on a journey to identify and attract pollinators to our gardens on May 6th. The DDBGS Junior Master Gardeners will open the evening, youth members to open our minds on why we need pollinators, two out of every three bites in our menu would not be possible if we don’t change our habits!
This will be followed in May and June by Master Gardeners and Master Gardeners in Training who invite DDBGS members on a journey of learning by doing. Seed and transplant up specific pollinator seedlings and help build a demonstration pollinator garden. This journey will teach us all together to have fun, learn about what pollinators need from us and we will all have a celebration during National Pollinator Week in June. Prince George and area get ready to save the pollinators!
